A man can be described in different ways. My senator sir, you have described Oloye Igboho the best way you can or rather the way it suits you and your camp. In Igboho, you see a thug, but in him, we have seen a different person.

To us in Yoruba, Igboho is representing two things, the first thing is that he is a slap on the face of all our leaders in the Southwest, which you belong, he has been able to stand up for the region when all of you have been silenced by the aroma of 2023.

The morsel, which is the reason for your silences may at the end become a mirage for you all.

The second thing Oloye Igboho is representing now is our voice, he has been able to voice out our pain. While our leaders, of which you belong, have traded the Yoruba race for the personal interest of 2023, Igboho abandoned his friendship with Seyi Makinde for the sake of our race, what a difference between you two.

Igboho might have been a thug, he has become a hero today, by taking the bold step you and other leaders have been shy of, for the sake of the 2023 aroma you have been sniffing and may not taste.

You mentioned Ade Basket and Fadage, that they are thug is as a result of the failure of our leaders, to which you belong.

Awolowo created a conducive society for your generations to thrive, this is why there is no known thug in your generation, we have many of them in ours, because our leaders of recent, which you belong, have failed us.

I have been so close to Fadage, so close that we have sat down together at the same table to wine and dine. He is a very kind man, our leaders, to which you belong, failed him, that was what made him be what you called him.

Senator Sir, the thug Igboho who have stood up for the sake of the Yoruba race is better than a Senator whose term in the Senate is a waste for his district.
