10-year-old girl successfully gave birth to a bouncing baby boy
People have wondered if child abuse act and laws exist. So many have also bordered about the way children are being deprived of their right especially in the Northern part of Nigeria where old men is allowed to marry underage girls.
According to @gidi_9ja, a10-year-old girl successfully gave birth to a bouncing baby boy (2.5kg) in a memorial hospital in Benue state.
The picture of the pregnant girl was displayed on social media.
This has generated so much concerns and got people talking.

From people’s comments, it was gathered that it is a norm in Benue to see children of age 9 and above get pregnant.
This is seen by others as an abnorm. This means that the fundamental human rights of the children have been infringed upon. The relevant authorities of government need to wake up to stop this trend in the North.
