The wedding of President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Zahra Nasiru Bayero on Friday was graced by lots of dignitaries and politicians from all walks of life.
The wedding ceremony, which took place at the Emir’s Palace in Bichi witnessed the presence of governors, ministers traditional rulers, captains of industries, politicians as well as members of the diplomatic community.
Amongst the personalities that attended Yusuf Buhari’s wedding was Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In the year 2015, President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), took over power from Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Following the transition of power from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress in 2015, a lot of people would think there would be difference between Goodluck Jonathan and President Muhammadu Buhari, but the presence of Goodluck Jonathan at Yusuf Buhari’s wedding shows that friendship exists between them regardless of political disparity.
