Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex- president Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to the trouser President Muhammadu Buhari was seen wearing during his Thursday visit to Imo state.
The former presidential aide took to his Facebook page on Thursday and blasted the person who selected the trouser for President Muhammadu Buhari, calling the person a coward for selecting such a kind of trouser for the president.
He then further questioned President Muhammadu Buhari’ s judgment, as he believed that President Muhammadu Buhari himself should have rejected the trouser when it was given to him to wear. He then further blasted President Muhammadu Buhari as he said that the trousers looked exactly like the way President Muhammadu Buhari has turned the Nigerian economy into. He then added that even prisoners would reject wearing those kinds of trousers if given to them.
And in Reno Omokri’ s post on Facebook, he wrote that ” Dear General Buhari, Look at the trousers you are wearing. Whoever gave you these trousers to wear is a coward. That person does not like you. But, unlike the average Igbo man in the Southeast, the person does not have the guts to say it to your face.
He also added that ” he or she chose to show it to you by giving you trousers that no person would voluntarily choose to wear. Even you. How would someone present these trousers to you and would you agree to wear them? Where is your judgment? Trouser that looks like what you did to the Nigerian economy? Even prisoners wear better trousers than this. Trousers that look like what a plumber sewed. Honestly, Buhari, you could have done better.
