A lot of Nigerians have gathered to celebrate independence day as Nigeria Clocks 61. Many strong politicians, as well as notable Nigerians, have taken to their various media pages to send their best wishes to the people of Nigeria and to make them understand why they must remain together irrespective of what is currently happening in the country.
Many of the leaders made it known that the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable and all parties must remain together as one in other to conquer all opposition. While this is going on, any Nigerians do seem to see the need why Nigeria should remain united due to what is happening in the different parts of the country.
Different incidents and events have shaped the country and so many Nigerians believe that the country is not working in the right path or direction. Despite the opinion of the people, the president has refused to be discouraged as he has said a lot of good things to the people as the country marks its 61st independence celebration.
The president made it known that this present position of Nigeria is not what the people of the country expect to see but he will continue to do his best in other for the country to get better and become a safe zone for everyone. While all this is going on, Atiku Abubakar in his message to President Buhari urged him to do his best.
On Friday, Atiku Abubakar took to his media page to send a big warning to the leaders of the country. He said the interest of the people must come first before the interest of the Politicians.
As long as the politicians and the leaders continue to put their interests first, against the interest of the people of the country, he said the country would not progress in any way. Atiku Abubakar said different policies need to be made that would bring a good change to the current living conditions of the people.
