The presidential candidate of the Accord Party, Professor Chris Imumolen has given Scholarships to Nigerian Football Players in their numbers.
Imumolen gave scholarships to all finalists of the Secondary League of Nigeria American Football Association (NAFA) in Lagos on Wednesday.
The presentation of the scholarship awards was witnessed by the Lagos State Sports Commission, Lagos State Ministry of Education, an Executive officer from NAFA, and other well-wishers.
When asked what prompted him to give the scholarships, Imumolen said “Nigeria was a nation known for sporting excellence. I believe we get it right once we begin to invest massively in young talents.”
The beneficiaries were Amuwo-Odofin Community Senior Secondary School (Male team); Army Cantonment Girls Senior Secondary School Ojo; Baptist Academy (male team); Girls Senior High School Agege; Oshodi High School (Male team); Greenspring School (Male and Female Team) and Keke Senior High School (Female team)
