Obi Cubana has once again gotten his name on the lips of every Nigerian after gifting his wife, Eby a brand new Mercedes Benz car.
The nightclub honcho’s wife, Ebele Iyiegbu, fondly referred to as Eby took to social media yesterday where she flaunted her new whip, a 2021 Mercedes Benz AMG GL53 estimated to cost a whopping N40 MILLION!
Nigerians have since been waxing lyrical about Obi Cubana who is surely going to win ‘Husband of the Year’ award anytime soon.
Obinna Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana rose to public prominence last month, July 2021, following the lavish burial ceremony he threw for his mother following her death last year December.
According to reports, there were over 300 cows set for the slaughter, over 50 private jets landed in two airports ferrying VIPs to the lavish celebration of life, wads of cash.
The burial could not go unnoticed on social media as many drooled over the show of wealth displayed at Oba.
The 46-year-old is a man who wears many hats some of which include businessman, entertainer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and lifestyle enthusiast.

In 2008, he got married to his beautiful wife, Ebele Iyiegbu who is a lawyer by profession. They have four kids- all boys.
Following the massive show of wealth on display at Obi’s mother’s burial in Oba, Anambra state, Cubana has since become more popular on Instagram and other social spaces in the country.
Obi Cubana who got married to wife, Ebele Iyiegbu back in 2008 recently revealed that they started dating in sub-optimal conditions.
He was living in a room apartment with four other guys when he met and started dating Ebele. However, their love was strong enough to sustain the hard times.
They dated for three years before tying the knot at which time he was now living in a three-bedroom flat in Abuja.
“I started dating my wife when I was living in a room apartment. It wasn’t even a room apartment in the real sense because we were four guys living there,” he said.
“There was no bed, the foam was on the floor. I’ll keep saying it, I met my wife when I was living in one room at a boys quarters in zone 4, Wuse, Abuja. So, it wasn’t about the money but we’re happy.
“I married her when I was living in a three-bedroom flat in Gariki. We had our two children there and lived happily. We dated for about three years before we married.
“That is what happens when you have a woman that is after keeping a home as peaceful as possible because peace brings about prosperity.
The multimillionaire who has four boys with Ebele further advised that money does not keep marriage, however it does make things easier to navigate.
“Money does not keep marriage although it makes things easier in marriage. In fact, the richer you’re, the higher tendency for you to get a divorce. Women love attention, my wife, for instance, loves attention,” he added.
Obi Cubana delved into the hospitality business back in 2006 with the opening of his first club, Ibiza Club situated in Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja.
Following the massive success of Ibiza Club, he established the Cubana group. It was to serve as a collection of nightlife facilities with the first branch opening in Owerri, Imo state.
Cubana Group has since expanded and now boasts several other branches including locations in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu.
