As believers in Christ, our source of power is in the holy ghost and God’s word. We connect to a power source when we pray in the Holy Spirit according to the word of God and his power flows to us in all circumstances. We experience greater confidence when we understand the Word and walk in revelation.
The basis for the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority we have in the word of God is our salvation. To be able to explore all the spiritual benefits in Christ Jesus, you must be born again. You must be recreated by believing and confessing that Jesus is your Lord and Saving, that God has raised Him from the dead.
Are you born again? Have you accepted The Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? That is the bedrock of our faith (Romans 10:9). You require that to become a partaker of his divine nature and benefit from all his physical and spiritual blessings. If you’re not yet born again and want to dominate over principalities and powers, and reign above all situations, you can do this right away by praying this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I ask that you come into my heart and be the Lord of my life from this day forward. I confess with my mouth that you are Lord of my life, and believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead; therefore I declare that I am saved.”
